The MMU has a different filament path and filament detection, which makes it necessary to adjust the extruder.

Some parts on the MK4s do not need to be upgraded - like the side idler door etc. Only upgrade the parts that have changed design for the MMU3 to work (not those that have only been changed due to material).

Does anyone know why you have to use upgraded parts from the MMU3 with the already new Nextruder on the MK4S. If heat and durability is an issue, wouldn't it be upgraded already when you purchase it or upgraded as a warranty /recall? Why do you only get the upgraded parts if you add on the MMU3?
