MK4S Loveboard cover meets spool

I printed a very tall object yesterday and was mildly alarmed that at maximum Z the loveboard cover on my machine contacted the spool hanging on the standard spoolholder. The spool has a larger than usual hole and was almost empty but I wonder what might have happened if there was 1Kg of filament on it, would the X motion have pushed it aside easily ? I'm not looking for help - inserts for the spool have fixed it but I thought you might like a heads up before your multi-hour print fails at the last minute.
