Firmware 6.2.0 Error

After updating to Firmware 6.2.0, when I try to send a file from PrusaSlicer and print it, it displays the message "Warning: 1. G-code is not compatible. 2. Not a high-flow nozzle." I can ignore it and print, but is this okay?

I solved it myself. I had to turn on high flow in the device settings.

I had the same issue today. No big deal, but a short hint in the change log would be greatly appreciated

RE: Firmware 6.2.0 Error

Trying to flash to 6.2 from 6.1.3+7898, gets about half way and just hangs up. I have redownloaded the firmware(6.2.) and recopied to the usb  (prusa usb) and still is hanging up about half way through. Any ideas to as to why or a fix? Thanks

RE:

So IF you upgrade firmware to 6.2.0 you have to RESLICE all models?  Tell me not true!

I have 200+ product production models.

Magic...   🙂
SD Cards and Memory pens seem to have limited lifespans...

no, of course you don't need to reslice. You just go into the hw setting and set again the printer for HF nozzle, as the 6.2 update clears that particular bit of info.

Puzzling the first time you see it, but then you just fix it with a couple of clicks (or finger taps)...

I did the upgrade and printed without any problems with the slicer set for high flow and the printer set for non-high flow and I did not get any errors from the printer.  I have updated the setting on the printer to re-enable high flow and MMU3.

What is surprising is that everything worked except I wasn't getting the "Is this the filament you want when printing single color prints".

One thing I did notice with 6.20 is that the printer seems to re-home the before almost every print.

Software upgrades should not cause the printer to lose it's settings.  There are just too many of them to remember all that should be re-configured.

A good practice is to save the printer settings to the USB stick (or computer through the web interface) before a firmware upgrade and then restore them afterwards.
