Filament Change Dialog and TPU

I'm trying to load TPU into my Prusa Mk4s. However, the filament change dialog doesn't have an option for TPU. FLEX is WAY too hot for the filament I'm using, and if I tell the printer to load PLA, it remembers that I specified PLA and says there's a material mismatch when I try to print. I want it to print with the settings I set in Prusa Slicer for TPU, so how do I tell the printer that it has TPU loaded?

So I overrode the printer and told it to print using the settings in the gcode... but is this really the right way? I'd rather have it set so the printer knows it's running TPU and can receive prints from Prusa Connect without throwing an error about the wrong filament being loaded.

To my knowledge you can't add a custom filament to the load options. Also see https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-original-prusa-i3-mk4-hardware-firmware-and-software-help/want-to-add-material-to-list-of-materials-for-filament-loading/

Firmware 6.2.0-alpha1 introduced 'user-defined filament options' that might do what you're after. I haven't tried them, though.

Just had a go at the 'user-defined filament options', this seems like what you're looking for. Access in the Filament menu, either at the bottom of the list to create a lasting definition, or within the Load Filament menu as 'Custom' (for a one-time change?).

Good to know. I'll wait for that firmware to hit stable before installing. I can override the setting for the time being if I know that a real solution is about to be implemented.
