PETG Layer shifting
The photo shows a panel that I designed. I printed it using PETG. I have an MK4S, and the latest versions of Slicer (2.9.4) and Firmware.
On the left is the result when I used the Slicer program with PETG settings. It prints the lower ~half of the panel, then the upper portion is suddenly shifted by a few millimeters.
I’d had no issue when I sliced/printed a test panel with PLA. I decided to try printing it with PETG but using the PLA-sliced version, and manually adjusting the nozzle and bed temperatures to those recommended for PETG (230/70). The result is on the right – perfect.
Any idea what would have caused the layer-shift issue? I’m wondering if it is an issue in the Slicer program?
