MK4S Z axis banding?
I just assembled my MK4s, and the print quality is fantastic, however, I do see some z axis banding. I wanted to make a post to see if this particular pattern of banding was reconizeable by anyone, and could help point me in the right direction.
This is with hatchbox PLA, as I am out of the small amount of bundled prusament, which hides imperefections quite well haha. I also did a temp tower, the banding is present at all temperatures.
Attached are to photos with an overhead light to expose the banding as much as possible:
I understand the ripples are something else entirely, but the distinct horizontal lines remind me of zaxis lead screw backlash, my printer seems solid, cant get much better with acme lead screws, and the weight of the gantry should be taking care of that anyways.
