MK4 -> MK4s upgrade, now nothing but problems

MK4 kit built myself. Probably had 5 failed prints in the 8+ months I have had it printing almost exclusively PETG. Did the 4->4s upgrade and now I get layer shifts, blobs, continued extrusion after cancelling a print (the gears are still pushing filament into the extruder), and just generally an unusable printer. I have recalibrated everything multiple times. Uninstalled, deleted the folders and reinstalled PrusaSlicer. When I cancel the print I bring up nozzle temp to clean the stuck filament, then I try to raise the Z axis. I put in a setting but it takes the printer sometimes 30 seconds to acknowledge I told it to move. Honestly this is worse than a $100 knock off from eBay and I have no clue where to start. I wish I had never bought what was really a few CF parts for the upgrade. Does anyone have any ideas on what else I might try?

Well, for anyone that ends up here I believe I found the culprit. The thumbscrews holding the nozzle were just a bit loose, allowing the nozzle to move just enough to mess up the print constantly. Running a print now to confirm but it looks like that was the issue.

Don't forget to mark this thread as resolved if that was the culprit.  It will help others to know that this thread has a possible answer to ago along with the problem.
