Hotend too long

Hi, I can’t seem to wrap my head around the main plate being in the way of the hotend assembly/nozzle. I pushed as hard as I could (probably not smart) but I can’t get the assembly to not show the copper. Did I make a mistake somewhere along the way?

No, but everything seems to work as it should.

Probably it's fine, the copper is slightly visible on my too but not that much, maybe half a millimeter...

If you open the idler you can see the other end of the extruder, there might be some flashing or something on the printed part that's in the middle of this picture, the opening of the extruder tube is the gray tube that's laying flat against the printed part.
