First Assembly - Nozzle jams in heatsink when inserted.

I'm building the MK4S kit and I seem to be stuck -- literally...

I'm at the step where the nozzle is inserted into the heatsink (Step 5.34). The nozzle slides up into the heatsink without a problem until the part with the copper ring is reached. As this part is inserted, insertion starts to get stiff when the copper part is inserted halfway. It is possible to insert the copper part further by rotating the nozzle back and forth but it keeps getting tighter the further up it goes. And eventually it reaches a point where the nozzle is thoroughly jammed and cannot be inserted further. Once this state is reached,  I did manage to remove the nozzle but it wasn't easy. I've done a bunch of searching to see if anyone else has this problem, but so far, it seems to be unique to me.

Here are some photos....

The first image shows the nozzle. Of note is that the top end of the copper ring is bright and it appears that the oxidation has been polished off by my rotating the nozzle back and forth to try to insert it further.

The second image is a shot up the hole in the heat sink. I'm not sure what I am seeing in the lower right (relative to the photo frame) part of the hole but it doesn't look like something that should be there. Also, it looks to me as if the hole that continues upward is drilled off-center. Could this be the problem?

The third and final image is the nozzle inserted as far as it will go (and pretty tightly wedged.) Obviously (per the build instructions, this is not far enough up. By the way, note that the thumbscrews are removed completely so they are not blocking the insertion of the nozzle.

Need some help here to figure out what I can do to try to address this problem.

A follow-up to my original posting...in the course of investigating further, I managed to knock loose some of the black stuff. The nozzle now slides in easier and can be inserted further than before. That said, the problem is still not completely resolved. The nozzle still cannot be inserted completely and when it is inserted as far as it will go, it is pretty jammed up and very difficult to remove.

Follow-up #2

I used a 5/32" reamer, using my fingers to spin it, to clear the hole of whatever it is that was causing this problem. I can now insert the nozzle properly.

Pretty annoying for this to have happened, but given that I can't find any other reports of this problem occurring, it seems to be a 1-off anomaly.

I consider this problem to be resolved and I am moving on...
