Dear all, what you're proposing is more or less interesting, but in the whole cases means you need to add an I2c interface card, and that could be great if you are thinking about to control a lot of signals, but suppose you want to handle a single pin or as much as a couple of pins, I want to control a light while printing, and may be a relay to cut the power down ate print end, I think I have enough single pins in Einsy Rambo board, I mean the MMU ones, for example, my intention is to use one of those pins and simply connect a mosfet board, controlling this way, again, the light, does the system allow me to send a gcode to switch or on off the aforementioned pin?, could I use M42, or may be M226 if I need to read it, instead to write it?, this is my concern, will M42 work?, no interface, but the mosfet, no anything more only M42, will it work?, for me, that's the question.
