RE: GIPO - Canon EOS R8 - 2.5mm
Thanks for the link!
I will try to use it in the next video. 😉
Can you share the 3MF?
I would love to check it if it's ok. 🫡
I just got Influenza so new video will have to wait a little bit. 😭
RE: GIPO - Canon EOS R8 - 2.5mm
That was unfortunate to hear. I had to undergo emergency surgery myself because my appendix gave up and had to be removed ASAP.
I've uploaded everything as a model with the .3mf file—hopefully, Prusa keeps it up! https://www.printables.com/model/1191305-time-lapse-basic-settings

Thank you so much!
I can highly recommend a Canon EOS R8!
I'm considering upgrading this summer to a Core One to see how that printer performs, or I might go for a Prusa XL if they've released a GIPO-compatible version!
RE: GIPO - Canon EOS R8 - 2.5mm
Full-Frame camera will give you the nicest picture but also ordinary Sony ZV1 is capable of making really nice time-lapse videos.
I personally was trying to make the time-lapse videos for my video with following camera:
- Sony ZV1
- Sony A7R3
- Panasonic GH5
- Canon R5C
Best picture of was from Canon R5C and Sony A7R3. But this cameras are full-frame and really expensive.
After is here, Panasonic GH5 but also the Panasonic GH4 will be sufficient with really good picture.
The Sony ZV1 is great, but the small sensor is not making the best picture. It’s like with a mobile phone. Also, I had to buy a dummy battery because it has shared USB connector with the shutter release.
Btw… Canon R8 is also full-frame. 😁
Some examples are available at the end of my video

That sounds really painful. I wish you a speedy recovery.
I will check the 3MF file. Maybe I will get some inspiration.

NEW:
Changed the default value for Pause Duration from 300ms to 500ms.
The validation output now displays the same questions as before with user-input values (X, Y, Z, and number of models) highlighted in blue.
SD Card Calculates and displays total images that can be stored and Total space required.
Added a “Copy G-Code Output” button that copies the generated G-Code to the clipboard.
Added instructions for where to insert the generated G-Code.
Updated the .3mf file with a new placement of Wipe tower.

It looks amazing!
Looking forward to testing it out. 😊
The placement of the wipe tower has it's own reason, but I understand someone may want to move it somewhere else.
