trouble orienting Falcon landing leg

Hello,

I am totally blind and am attempting to print the attached file using Prusa Slicer. All the other parts for this model have printed fine, but I'm having a heck of a time with this one. The part just isn't sticking to the bed on my mk4. I have supports enabled. Can anyone advise if I need to do anything special regarding rotation for this part?

Thanks!

I would try printing it on end, so it is tall with the tapered end up. Then use organic supports. Here is a 3mf.

You have to Zip Compress the .3mf file, before attaching!

Hi Joan, I did compress to zip file, both times. Would you be so kind as to check if I have authority to upload? I’ll attach the zipped file here.

After replying to you, with attached zip, I see that my post is “awaiting moderation”. Thanks again.

Have you tried printing the model with a brim?
