Printing with multiple plates
I have a mk4, but came across this really cool model on bambu's site for a suspended star destroyer. Yeah I know.... Anyway, I thought, no problem! I'll just download the stl, and pull it into prusa slicer. While I can bring the model in, it is split into 3 big parts, which I am assuming could be split into multiple plates on bambu's software. I tried using the 'split to object' or 'split to parts' but that results in a nightmare amount of 39 parts. Is there a way to work around this and print this model? (For reference the model is here at makerworld)
RE: Printing with multiple plates
Try these!
star-destroyer LED1 JT
I Took the original STL, loaded it in Prusa Slicer, and repaired it with the windows repair algorythm.
then I right clicked on the model and chose SPLIT to PARTS.
this resulted in Five parts
The portal with the front of the ship,
The Portal With the Rear of the ship. and
three segments of a circle
I left the last three items as a group

Wow, Thank you for doing that! I appreciate that!
Just as a note for anyone printing it, I read that you need to change the perimeter generator from Arachne to classic.
