Printing Nylon-CF at 300°C

Hi,

I have an MK4 with an obxidian 0.4 nozzle in an enclosure.

I just received a roll of PolyMide PA612-CF. Recommended temperature by the vendor is 300°C and I notice only now that max temp on the printer is 290°C.

  1. Is there a way to get the extra 10°C without heavy modification?
  2. Does anyone have successfuly printed this material and with which settings?

Thanks for you advice

RE: Printing Nylon-CF at 300°C

According to the data sheet supplied by Polymaker, the recommended nozzle temperature ranges from 250 to 300C. Therefore you don't need to reach 300C to print it. 290C or even less should be fine.
