PETG Bed adhesion on Textured Sheet
For a long time I've had all sorts of unexpected problems getting PETG to adhere to my textured sheet, and I've tried just about everything. Today I tried a smear of glue stick and it worked a treat, but left a mess on both the sheet and the print. Can I use hairspray on my textured sheet to improve adhesion when printing with PETG?

You can use 3DLac. But only lightly like fog. It can be washed with IPA.

My process with poor adhesion:
1. Clean with IPA.
2. Wash with water and Dawn Dish soap.
3. Try Aquanet hair spray or 3dLAC

There shouldn't be a need for any of it. But in my hands I found that I need to adjust live Z down a bit when printing PETG on textured (which I do all the time) to get consistent adhesion.
Just when the print head begins to move to the sheet to start the print, long press the knob on the LCD panel to bring up the live adjustment menu. Dial live Z down by -0.03 or -0.04.
For some subtle first layer features I occasionally still need to use some Layerneer or Magigoo but usually adjusting live Z is enough.
But that "always perfect" first layer is everything but, once you move beyond PLA on a smooth sheet, at least for me on all my Mk4S's...

RE: PETG Bed adhesion on Textured Sheet
Been using the textured sheet with PETG for a long time. Have never had a problem. First layers are always perfect. I just keep the textured sheet clean.
I clean it between every print with IPA. If it gets dirty beyond cleaning I just throw it away and use a new one.

Having tried just about everything else that's been suggested, I'll get some 3D Lac and give that a go.

I've been doing PETg prints on the textured build plates for several years.
I always use an adhesion booster. The one I prefer is Layerneer. A little goes a long way.
You can usually find it on Amazon.
