Thanks! @neophyl, I appreciate you taking the time to show me what's the best way to place the disc, so I could use less filament in the supports. You have opened my eyes, and the next print, I'm going to use yours.

I'd go for a different angle on the disc like so -

Less supports needed and the bottom edge near the bed will print better. That bottom where it touches is going to be flat no matter what you do (unless you lift the part up) but by having just the edge lowest there's less cleanup.

Attached project file. Should warn you that I saved it from 2.7-rc1 so if you are running the 2.6 release it might complain when you try and open it.

You need to define the enforcer area if using support enforcers only option. Other wise it won’t support anything.

Try out the auto painting tool in the support painting tool if you can’t decide where to paint the supports.

The other option is to save your project file and zip and attach it so people can examine it and try things to see the result with your model. They can then post one back with example support options.

Hi, I need help with how much supports I need to print this dome:

Do I need to put supports everywhere?

Cause the supports will take an insane amount of time and material

And if I set supports for support enforcers only, its printing on air
