My PRUSA MK4 is being challenged by a friend and his Bambu Lab.

(Sorry for the previous posts jeopardized)

His print of the attached STL is of better quality, especially the cone at the top of the central rod, which is perfectly smooth, unlike mine.

I bought a PRUSA MK4 because it wasn't Chinese.
It's possible that I didn't get the full benefit of the MK4 and the slicer.
Thank you for your help so that I'm no longer annoyed by a Bambu!
Here are the settings used:
0.4 nozzle
Prusa PLA filament Galaxy Black 205/225 MK4version MK4_MK4S_MK3.9_MK3.9S_firmware_6.2.3
Height-Layer: 0.1
-First layer: 0.2
Perimeters: 3
Infill: 15%
Pattern: GridPrint settings: 0.1mm DETAIL

Thanks in advance for any help

Regards

RE: My PRUSA MK4 is being challenged by a friend and his Bambu Lab.

Different horses for different courses.

Good luck to you  and Prusa. Both doing a good job.

Bamboo top of the line IMHO, simple to use, not much needing to talk to the techies, very little traffic to and from of

there forum site.

The problem with the Prusa forum is, to much traffic on inexperienced people on subjects like "which side do I put the jam on my toast after I have applied the butter, "

But common sense prevails. Prusa have always had good machines, good quality, sorry but there European selling prices are way over the top for me. even though i live in Spain. If I need Bambu spares, rarely I might add, then they have me covered with hubs in Europe and 2 day cheap courier service.

Remember the Prusa company are unfortunately strictly governed by the EU, and there is still an EU office in Brussels that monitors how much bend a banana can have without them being rejected into Europe and normally disposed of in the Med. I bet a few Gazans right now would go for a really crooked banana.

If you are living in the US and Prusa owners ,then  rest assured I am sure Josef must be thinking of moving the mountain to Mohammed, if not then the current US Prusa owners and the future purchasers will be up a river with no means of propulsion.

The fact is Europe will not be getting any fat deals from the tariff war, Europe has little to offer as compared to the Chinese.

Oh well You pay your money, you make choices.

As far as the german based DHL for courier service , they are as useless as the US Fedex UPS, the old saying "the trouble with the word apathy, nobody gives a damn," and who and where are the bosses of giant courier services on $500,000 year when they have lost your order for a Core 1 ?

Again, global trading is not working, there are sufficient US/EU  brains to make Prusa machines in every country in the world.

Josef started with the I3, fabulous and they still are, only 1 filament, one Mk8 head, quality of finished prints excellent.

I still have prusa I3 clone, it runs well., no bells and whistles, sorry no up to  8 filament change colour options. if I need

different colours, the split with a slicer and glue together.

Again, different horses for different courses.
