You can play with the top z separation distance or the number of interface layers (to make removal easier). Dropping the temperature a bit may also help a bit (I have a new print-in-place design where I need to go down 15 degrees from my default to have the parts separate) but I wouldn't expect any profound improvement

I am aware you are obviously never going to get prints that look as good under a support as you will on top, but are there any settings I can tweak in the profile to get better-looking prints when detached from supports? They are pretty rough on the bottom and I wish I could tighten the quality up even just a little.
