Color change not working on my new mk4

When I slice a part that needs color change, the slicer inserts the change just fine.  But trying to print it on my MK4 ejects the first color, but then just sits there, never accepting the new filament.  I even used that same gcode on my MK3 and it ran perfectly (after my MK3 asked if I knew it was sliced for  the MK4 and I said "OK").

How do I teach my MK4 to accept the new color during a change?

I am running the updated operating system on the mk4.

I ran a full recalibration on it and now it is working perfectly!

RE:

I actually just had this problem, and it was driving me nuts... then I realized what was happening. The filament sensor ball/magnet/spring got stuck inward. So the printer never seen the filament come out. If I had to guess, this was probably cause by some left over stringing from the printed parts. I got lucky and the ball popped back out after playing with it awhile. Otherwise you might have to take it apart and clean the hole out for better spring action. I had to recalibrate it again because when the ball is in and you tell the calibration that there isn't filament loaded, it saves the inward ball as empty and the outward ball as loaded. So completely backwards. If you don't feel the ball rolling on your filament when inserted, it's stuck inward. Now that mine popped out, it's completely noticeable by feel. Hope this helps.
