ASA printing woes. Warping after 80% of print.
Hello,
I have been using the MK4 for quite some time now, mostly PLA & PETG, and with very good results. Now I have started with some large ASA parts. For this I am using satin sheet, Prusament ASA and input shaping enabled.
I have noticed that the part (flat surface) warps after 80% of printing, one corner of the part lifts up, this happens even after a large brim is enabled. Temperature settings are default. Speed is reduced to 60%
Could anyone give an insight into this issue...
thanks

RE: ASA printing woes. Warping after 80% of print.
I would start by washing the build plate, in the sink, using cheap dish soap and hot water, rubbing vigorously with a new dish sponge,
and rinsing well with hot water, then drying immediately, with plain paper towels.
this should be more effective at removing finger grease and surface contaminants than IPA.
I try to make safe suggestions,You should understand the context and ensure you are happy that they are safe before attempting to apply my suggestions, what you do, is YOUR responsibility. Location Halifax UK
RE: ASA printing woes. Warping after 80% of print.
Thanks for the help.
I cleaned the build plate thoroughly and used glue stick on the bed. This reduced the warping during the print. However the part gets warped once removed from the build plate.

Large parts of ASA always will warp. It depends on the design Geometry of the model.
But you should let the bed cool down before removing the sheet.
