X-axis layer shift

I am having an x-axis layer shift problem.  The part on the far left was the first part that I printed and it came out beautiful.  I decided to re-slice with fuzzy skin to give an aesthetic and had an x-axis layer shift during print.  This is the second part from the left.  I decided I didn't like the fuzzy skin so I re-printed the first part from the memory (not re-sliced) hoping that the layer shift was an aberration.  This is the center part. I wasn't sure what was causing the layer shift. I decided to upgrade the firmware from 5.1.3 to 6.04.  I also did a full calibration of the printer.  I also decided to re-sclice with the same settings as the first part and that's when I got the smaller layer shift.  This is the second part from the right.  The last part on the right is the same STL but I sliced with a different layer height.

I don't believe my tension on the x-axis belt is bad.  I can't believe this would cause the part to layer shift on the exact same layer each time.

RE: X-axis layer shift

I should have included that I checked the X-axis belt tension with the smartphone / website by plucking it.  The website reported the tension was correct.

RE: X-axis layer shift

There was another change that took place between the first and second print: I installed the Prusa App from the app store on my iPhone.  I'm not sure how this could be related, but I went ahead and tightened up the X-axis belt for the heck of an experiment and sent another print.  I just received a push that the print was finished. I got up to look at it, and the print was not finished.  The print was at the exact point of the layer shift.  I watched it try to put a couple more layers down and it shifted again at the exact same spot.  Could the app have something to do with this?

I'm tempted to disconnect the wifi on the printer and try again.  I'm also sick of wasting filament though...
