What is the purpose of the USB C port on the Buddy Board?

What is the purpose of the USB C port on the Buddy Board?

Sorry if this has been asked and answered but I can't find anything about that port. What can it be used for? Would it power a USB C Camera or LED Light?

The USB C port is to connect a computer such as a Raspberry Pi running Octoprint to the printer.
