Updating MK4 firmware to 6.1.2 seems to have broken WiFi
I just updated my MK4 to firmware 6.1.2, and the WiFi stopped working. Everything else seems OK, and the wired Ethernet connection works. I checked that the SSID and password are still set correctly.
According to the release log, firmware 6.1.2 introduced bootloader 6.3.5, which flashes the ESP module on each boot. This seems like it might be relevant, so I tried reverting the firmware to 5.1.0, which is what I have been using until now. I then used "setup wifi module" to update the ESP firmware. I noticed that the bootloader is still 6.3.5, so downgrading the firmware does not appear to have downgraded the bootloader. Anyway, it reports that the ESP module was flashed successfully, but the WiFi still does not work.
I would like to revert to the older bootloader (in order to prove whether firmware 6.1.2 / bootloader 2.3.5 really does cause a WiFi problem on my MK4) but I can't find a way of doing this. Alternatively if anyone can suggest something I might be doing wrong which would cause the WiFi to stop working, that would be great.

Joan, thanks for the link, but it actually describes exactly what I've been doing! I can "downgrade" the firmware just fine, but the boot loader seems to be stuck on the latest version (2.3.5) and won't "downgrade".

ben, for me the 6.0 works fine , the 6.1 is terrrible with big problem on cleaning nozzle , i am on discuss with the support , but each time i've tried i have same problem , the printer does the cleaning nozzle at funny height like 50mm or where it is !! so sure fail and redo fail...asap i am back to previous one ..perfect print !!!
RE: Updating MK4 firmware to 6.1.2 seems to have broken WiFi
Eventually I found the solution to this problem - hopefully others may find it useful. It was actually a mistake on my part, which seems to be tolerated by the older firmware, but not by the newer firmware. My prusa_printer_settings.ini file specified the WiFi SSID in lowercase, but the SSID of my network is actually uppercase.
