RE: Setting time manually without internet

Well, changing the time zone is about the only thing you can correct. You cannot manually enter any time, nor can you set up your own NTP 🙁

What's so bad/dangerous about connecting the printer to the internet for about 5 to 10 seconds max. every 3 months? There are no external ports opened in your firewall to allow access to attackers from outside for this. I don't see any downside from this and entering the correct time via the screen or the rotary encoder, if it was made possible at all, would definitely take longer.
Just because you are paranoid does not mean they are not after you, right? 🙂

"What's so bad/dangerous about connecting the printer to the internet for about 5 to 10 seconds max. every 3 months?" That it is impossible. No connections allowed except for explicitly ordered ones. For internal usage there is an NTP server we can use, but there is no GUI how I could instruct the printer to use that.

Also, you cannot set the time manually. If there is a GUI for that then I did not find it, and several others as well...

Then just use a mobile hotspot on your mobile and connect the printer's wifi to it. Just wait until nobody of your admins is around ... 😉
Hard to prove afterwards that you did it!

That would be a clear breach of the rules and entitle my employer to fire me. So that is not an option.

I will probably connect it to wifi at some point, when (if) I need it. But in the meantime I'm not going to bother with it (it's not exactly just a click of a button), just to be able to set clock. Such little details can be annoying, especially when it is advertised that no functionality is lost when offline, so manual adjustment should be added, everything else is just a workaround.
