Prusa Slicer not Prusa Slicer Instaler as choice in opening a 3mf file
Hi all... I appreciate your patience with my "noobiness" 😀Â
This is may be more of a Windows 10 issue than Prusa but I'd be grateful for you kind help.
I have a 3mf file which when I right click on that file in File Explorer it doesn't list Prusa Slicer eve though that's installed and sits on my W10 desktop screen that i can clink and pen the Prusa Slicer.
I'd like to be able to open the 3mf file and in the drop down menu list but it only lists the Prusa Slicer Installer.
I then browse this PC and reach Desktop where Libre Writer and other programs re listed but not the Prusa Slicer.
I then visited my hard drive - C: and see various programs listed and visit Prusa and see Prusa Slicer.exe and click on that it then opens the Prusa Slicer.
But, even after all that every time I have a 3mf file and right click to Open With - it never lists the Prusa Slicer - jt only lists the Prusa Slicer Installer.
How can I fix thus so the Prusa Slicer is always listed in the Open With in W10 File Explorer?

Yes that does sound like an issue with windows. However you can try going into the preferences section in prusa slicer (Cntrl+P) and then under General you will see tick boxes for Associate 3mf files to PS and another for associate stl files with PS. Tick the 3mf one and save.

Take a look at your Win 10 file associations for 3mf files.
You may need to change your defaults.
