printer gets stuck on 'disengaging idler'

Hello All,

MK4 kit + MMU3

When my printer runs out of filament mid-print, it will eject the filament correctly.  However when it goes to load it will go through the 'loading to finda' state, and then retract then move to 'disengaging idler' and sit stuck at this state forever.  I can not interact with the screen in any way other than to powercycle and loose the print

I tried to manually pause it mid print and change filament instead of waiting for it to run out, and I had the same result.  I do not have this when loading filament while not currently in a print.

Does anyone know what can cause this?  I'm not really sure what its doing during this state and cant find anything online about what its looking for so I'm having difficulty troubleshooting.

Thanks!

RE: printer gets stuck on 'disengaging idler'

I'm Disappointed that isaiahzsa hasn't received a reply.

My Mk4S MMU3 is now experiencing the same issue.

I did have a problem with the Finda sensor, which I have now rectified. I can manually push the filament through the MMU right down to the extruders filament sensor with both sensors turning on and off appropriately.

The MK4S display keeps returning to "Loading Filament, 50%, Disengaging Idler" and will not attempt to load the filament.
