PC to Mk4 using WiFi
If I set up WiFi on my Mk4, can I load files direct from my PC, or do I still need to work through Prusa Connect?

You need to use either link or connect. Link goes straight to the printer staying completely within your network so that is probably the way you want to go

I use PrusaLink on my local LAN to upload all my models. I also use it from a browser to check how much time is left, the problem I had was getting the browser to save the dadgum credentials. I don't remember how, but I finally got them saved. I seem to recall it only asked if I wanted to save them when I navigated away from the PrusaLink web page.
