no installation wizard

Hi,

I just received my Prusa Mk4 and I expected the installation wizard when I switched on, but nothing. I have the regular menu with 6 items (I expect it to be the regular menu). So I cannot run all the tests the wizard would have done.

How can I start the installation wizard manually?

Should I warn Prusa since it seem to be unusual to be in that situation? If yes, how do we contact them?

Olivier.

Hi Olivier,
you could try a factory reset...
https://www.prusa3d.com/downloads/manual/prusa3d_manual_MK4_MK39_103_en.pdf
section 4.13    on page 33

section 4.2 on page 20 says that you can run the self test from the Control sub menu...    this should show you all self test components with either a tick or cross, depending upon whether they have passed or not.

you should be able to selectively run tests from the control menu

Ok, I didn't try the reset factory because I was afraid to loose some setting Prusa may have made. I will try it.

Thanks.
