MMU3 board crash while unloading filament from all slots using menu.
I've had the MMU3 installed and running for a little over a week.
New firmware came 6.1.3 and I updated MK4 last night and printed several jobs.
I went today to unload all filament from MMU3 using the menu option. It unloaded the 1st slot, selected 2nd and it unloaded it. When I selected the 3rd slot the selector on the MMU3 went to the far right and all lights went off on the MMU3.
At this point it no longer showed installed in the MK4 menu. I PO/PO (Power Off/Power On) and selected to enable the MMU3 in the MK4 control panel and PO/PO again. It does not initialized, all 5 lights go green and just the amber light is on on the MMU3 control board.
- TROUBLE SHOOTING COMPLETED -
1. With power off reseated all connections on MMU3 and communications cable on MK4 main board for MMU3.
2. Disconnected motors from MMU3, powered on. No change
3. Tried downgrading to 6.1.2 on MK4. No change
4. Tried firmware upload on MMU3 and it will not complete as it can't talk to the board. Tried using reset button on MMU3 as well.
The MK4 is just about a month old so I need to get in touch with support to figure out if problem is in MMU3, the communication for it or the MK4 board.
