MK4 Keeps printing after a head crash
Using firmware 6.0.4 on an MK4 Printer
If the print head encounters a blockage (i.e. hand was where it should be) and it stop or is moved out of place while printing, the printer will keep printing. The print head thinks it's at the correct spot but it is not; in my case, too far to the right. It then proceed to move further to the right to continue printing and then hit the right size Z motor mount. It kept slamming against it try as hard as it could. Finally I hit reset.
I recall that the MK3 firmware (I upgraded my printer to MK4) would stop when there was a fault and throw an error and ending the print.
