MK4 Firmware Update causing problems
Every since I updated to the new firmware (5.1.0) and latest slicer version (2.7.0), I can no longer print from the printer using the display screen. I can send files to the printer from the slicer or from Prusa Connect and they print fine. But if I select the same file using the printer display and select print, the display goes blank (except for the top line) and the system hangs. It will clear if I unplug the thumb drive, otherwise it remains hung. I've changed back to non-binary gcode and tried a new thumb drive without success. Anybody else having this problem?

RE: MK4 Firmware Update causing problems
I and several others see this issue when doing a multicolor single extruder print but I've never had this problem for a regular print.
More info on the multicolor issue can be found in threads such as this one, https://forum.prusa3d.com/forum/english-forum-original-prusa-i3-mk4-how-do-i-print-this-printing-help/single-extruder-mm-print-wont-start/
As you found out, the work around is to use PrusaLink or PrusaConnect.
RE: MK4 Firmware Update causing problems
Thanks so much for the informative reply. Yes, I've been doing mostly multi-color prints lately and didn't know it was connected to the problem.
