MK4 firmware issue: Printer fails to acknowledge that it is printing a model started from the web interface

I built an MK4 from a kit about a week ago and have printed about 20 models with it. So far, I am extremely pleased with the quality of the hardware and the resulting prints. However, the firmware and web interface definitely need some help. I have noticed about six serious bugs so far, and I am creating one thread for each of them to start a discussion.

Issue: Printer fails to acknowledge that it is printing a model started from the web interface

On one occasion, I uploaded a model via the web interface and then select Print. The printer immediately started to print the model, but the web interface did not acknowledge the request to print, and the display showed no indication that it is printing anything at any time. Both the printer UI and the web interface remained fully responsive and behaved as if the printer was idle. Upon completion of the print, the printer did not display a "Print Complete" screen.

I presume that this behavior reflects an instance of miscommunication between the UI and the components of the firmware that handle loading and printing a model.

Frequency: I have observed this behavior once, but its severity warrants a report.

Software environment: The MK4 is running the latest firmware (4.7.0).
