Mini heat gun to remove PETG stringing.

I note that some of you have a similar hat gun to this one:

How do you find it for removing PETG stringing? Is it hot enough?

Oh, haha. Indeed, that is the exact one sitting on our shelf here...

Works great as long as you know the limitations of using the heat gun method. Light passes, don't dwell, and let the model cool down frequently.

You can get rid of most light stringing, but do be aware there's a risk of leaving char marks from the burnt bits -- that excess plastic has to go somewhere.

I use a small butane torch myself. $5 at Walgreens, and refillable. Works great and super fast. Just never stop moving on the part.
