Filament cleaning problems after filament change or stuck filament error

Everytime the printer moves the extruder to the front right in order to (re)load filament, I have a hard time to keep the nozzle clean in order to not garbish the current print.

I had this a lot with the stuck filament error recently, but also now with an empty spool when the printer is waiting for a new spool.

When I load new filament, it gets cleaned, i.e. some cm of filament will be pushed out. That's ok, I can somehow remove it since it's sticking on the extruder.

However the biggest problem is, when I hit the OK button on the display to tell the printer that it has cleaned enough and can continue printing. As soon as I do that, Another bunch of filament is pushed out, hanging on the nozzle and staying there while the extruder moves back to the next printing position. This bunch of filament is then part the print and, depending on the object I'm printing, it can be really disturbing if not breaking the whole print.

Is there anything I can do to tell the MK4 not to push another 1-2 cm of filament out after hitting OK?

My current workaround is to use a cleaning brass brush, holding it under the nozzle when hitting OK, so the extra filament is captured there, but it feels wrong having to do it.

If you don't remove the initial purge but leave it attached,  then you can hold it when confirming the change and the extra purge will be linked to the bit you are holding so you can stop it going on the print. That's what I used to do, but that got old quite quickly so I bought a MMU which solved the problem

Actually I do have the MMU3 and the problem is pretty present. It actually started to arise with the MMU in combination with enclosure when it's closed (my current observation which is to be proven with more prints).

I find it pretty strange having to hold the filament somehow in order to not destroy the print. Why is the printer pushing out filament in the step after I approved that color is ok?
