Fighting With Supports

I love most things about my MK4 that I received a few weeks ago with the exception of supports.

Roll back a bit and let me say I had my Mk3s+ for over two years and always used the preset support settings.  I am not one that fiddles with the software.  With the Mk3 when the print was done the supports almost fell off by themselves.  I never had to struggle to remove them.  With this MK4 it's like pulling molars out of a gorillas mouth.     I'm using the latest slicer and firmware is utd  on the printer.  Remember it's only about 2 weeks old and it doesn't matter if I use the IS printer profile or the non IS profile.    Both profiles btw only have 3 choices for the " Pattern ".

I have went as far as to uninstall the slicer and then reinstall it. It didn't make a difference.

Any ideas and help will be appreciated.

RE: Fighting With Supports

Hi Guyzerr,

Supports are tricky and I've always had to tweak the settings in Prusa slicer to get the results I want.  Can you share the settings and material you are using?  I might be able to make suggestions.

Probably the easiest way to share this would be to zip up the 3mf file and post it here.  (The forum will only let you attach .zip files)
