Weird sound from X-axis Belt, Newly assembled MK4
Hi,
I just finished my first assembled 3d-printer, and i just realised theres a weird sound coming from time to time, I've attached a video.
So far I've located the vibrations from this sound can be felt on the X axis belt.
Anyone heard this before?

Yeah, I've got a similar thing going on. I think it's when the rubber of the x-axis belt rubs up against the metal pulley that causes it to vibrate like a violin string. On my machine, this only happens when the x-axis moves as a very specific speed (maybe it's a resonance thing). I've had my printer (self-assembled) for like 2-3 months and this problem just appeared like 2 weeks ago, still haven't done anything to fix it. I'd imagine it's harmless but it would be nice to remedy it.
Would lubricating the pulley work?
(I suspect the noise is coming from either the GT2-20 Idler pulley OR GT2-16 pulley, Link)

Any update on this? I have something similar, but can't figure out where it is coming from.
IMG_1344 Very start and very end of the video.

My MK4 has similar sounds and I don't know where it came from, I bought the printer assembled. I lubricate the rods every once in a while but I don't think it has to do something with the rods, maybe dust in the bearings or one of the balls is seized, I really don't know.
Have you fixed your problem?
