RE: Timelapse Videos
Count me in as someone that would find it very worthwhile to have a timelapse feature using a USB camera.
RE: Timelapse Videos
Built in camera's to record time lapses and remote check for issues are starting to show up on printers now straight from the manufacturer. I even saw one on the new resin printer coming from Elegoo soon. I figured with as much as Prusa likes to post with time lapse videos having a built in system would be an obvious feature to add.
RE: Timelapse Videos
I am also throwing in my vote for a Timelapse feature in Prusa Connect. I've been using a Beaglecam with my mk3 but I'd rather not use any 3rd party software/hardware anymore, especially with my new mk4.
3D printing is becoming increasingly more mainstream, timelapse videos are fun and impressive representations of what those great machines can do.
RE: Timelapse Videos
Have you managed to improve your tools. I would be interessed in it.
I put a bunch more time this weekend on improving my tooling to make it easier and faster to process the videos. One step closer to having something that can be released.
RE: Timelapse Videos
Not to be practicing necromancy here but @scott-gartner that timelapse looks really great and I'd love to get my hands on that python script, if you're sharing!
RE: Timelapse Videos
Did anyone end up following through with posting a time-lapse code? Or any news on the subject? I am trying to figure out a way to use a gopro 10 to do the whole time-lapse bit but hoping to find a way to do that and connect to prusa connect on a single device
RE: Timelapse Videos
I'd like to use timelapse for debugging.
I have failures of two axis-shift on my Core One, which never happen in the first hour of different prints. I'm not sure when and what is happening, so can't even properly request support.
Timelapse could help me pinpoint the data: what layer does it happen on, maybe it is always on the same minute for all prints, or maybe same layer. Timelapse video would be very useful for that.
