Problem with non consistant sticking of large printed Parts on the Heatbed
Since i have my Prusa MK3S - and further then upgraded to the MK4 even more i recognize a Modelllifting on the far right side - especially in the back right corner of the Heatbed.
Could it be that the warm Air of the two Ventilators on the Nexttruder - which is additionally reflected from the ca 30° Surface of the MainsBox via the Printblower to the Modelbase causes this troubles.
It is not a Problem of my Models - i can turn them in any direction - always Lifting only on the right side..the more back the more....
I will try to build a heatshield - when it is not useful try also to build a deflectorpad to direct the airstream backwards away - there is apex 1cm space -maybe it works.
It might also be the direction of an external draft - have you tried enabling a draft shield in Print Settings > Skirt and brim ?
Cheerio,
RE: Problem with non consistant sticking of large printed Parts on the Heatbed
Thanks for the Advice - i did build a heatshield and an additional windshield about 30cm back from the Frame - mounted on the mainsBox between the printing Area made of a foaminsolated cardboard - this solved the Problem satisfactory so long.
I Print architectural lage flat structures (interior Structure of BuildingModels) - so that works now with good results.
MK4 is now definitly better with this Models than MK3s
