Print visualisation
Hi all,
After some hesitation, I will buy a MK4.
I looked extensively at Ender 3.1, which is really cheaper,...but reports were not so good.
Moreover, my son-in-law owns a Prusa mini, and he is so enthusiast about it and Prusa service/community, that I will make the jump!
I have a question.
I used recently a Greetech, which is not really a great printer, mainly because the model I used was old with an old version of Marlin and an old motherboard.
However I appreciated to see, on Repetier, the printing progress drawn on the screen.
As I understood MK4 does not use Repetier.
Is there a way to visualize the travel of printing head during printing.
With Prusa slicer you can visualize all layers, but not online as far as I could find.
Thanks for your help.
Gerard
RE: Print visualisation
a raspberry pi running octoprint may provide the real-time view you are looking for,
RE: Print visualisation
Yep, OctoPrint with the PrettyGCode plugin should do what you want.
