need help cutting

I'm attempting to model a threaded part off one of those pump up sprayers.
I checked the thread with sae and metric thread gauges and it's neither although it's close to an sae thread.
I managed to get very close using the coil tool.

My problem is, the threads on the part are undercut.

I can highlight that part blue but I've tried everything to cut it and nothing works.

Any suggestions?

ok..what is the secret to attaching a file? I've used the choose file and attach file tools and neither work.

Zip the file first - the forum software is very picky about file types.

Fusion 360 help - anyone?

Oops, I should have said - yours is a Fusion 360 file and as I do not run Windows I cannot open it.
