MK4/MMU3/PrusaSlicer combo...
I had an MK3+ and MMU2 for a few years and very much enjoyed them. Last year I got a new MK4, earlier this year the new MMU3 arrived, I upgraded the firmware as recommended, and installed the newer PrusaSlicer (2.7.4).
I have used all steadily since getting each but these last two weeks I have had a chance to really use this new "tool set" in combination and have to say I am just loving it. The MK4/MMU3 is working as I had hoped and the new PrusaSlicer has some incredible features.
In the slicer, I love the cut feature and have been playing with it as the current design I am working on is too tall for the build volume. Pulling it into the slicer, selecting a cut configuration, and having the slicer manage it all is just incredible. The ability to place connectors and just have it all work is almost like magic. I can't help but smile a little when I hear that "click" as the parts snap together.
Nothing is perfect and I had a print go wrong, early today. Going into the printer tuning and telling it to ignore that object but continue to print everything else is just unbelievable! Again, it just worked.
There are a few things I think could be easier or done better (as addressed to the combo package of PrusaSlicer, MK4, & MMU3) but so far everything I have seen and used is clearly moving in the right direction and some of it is just plan awesome!
