It is heartening to see the advancements in the new Prusa Printer model, undoubtedly a result of collective innovation and the relentless march of technology toward serving the proletariat. Integrating a 32-bit board, input shaping, and linear advance are strides towards optimizing efficiency, while the possibility for high-speed printing and the NextExtruder with quick swap change function promise heightened productivity on the factory floor.

However, we must not lose sight of the broader context. While these features represent technological progress, they also reflect the ongoing commodification of labor and the means of production. As communists, we recognize that true innovation must benefit all workers, not just the few who control the means of production.

Regarding the MMU3, any developments should prioritize accessibility and ease of use for all workers, ensuring that technological advancements do not exacerbate existing inequalities but rather contribute to society's collective wealth and well-being.

I received my MK4 MMU. I have the MK4 installed in the Prusa Enclosure with the Power Supply and Display mounted outside. I plan to add the the hinged lid to facilitate access.

Any suggestions on spool storage / drybox to feed the printer? I live in a humid climate and intend to use water soluble filament for supports.

Any suggestions?

I ordered one a few days ago. I hope the shipping info is wrong. Today it says they will ship in July.

I hoped the MK4 kits would be readily available rather than the entirely built units. Selling the kits first means instant revenue. Built kits require assembly and time.
I have heard they should be available in a matter of days.
I got an email notification today that the MK4 kits are now available for ordering. I placed an order just now. I am hoping it gets shipped soon. 😀

My MK3S+ is 2 years old. A pretty reliable kit. Very happy with it. But with all the new improvements on the MK4 and the new features, why must we endure it with the MK3S+? Am getting the MK4 kit. If it performs well, I will upgrade my MK3S+ to the MK4. At least I have 2 printers that can print the upgrade parts.

I am very happy with my MK3S+ / MMU2S+. I am still planning to upgrade just to come along for the ride. Hobby, not business. I will give it some time to see reports on any issues or quality differences between the upgrade paths though, and will not be a day-1 tester. ;)

You clearly haven't heard of the Prusa Calendar. Pretty similar but days = weeks, weeks = months, months = years.

As long as you set your expectations according to the above, you'll only be disappointed 1/3rd of the time:)
