Communication has not been great from prusa, I totally agree.   They really need to work on keeping folks that have paid money for something they've not yet received in the loop.   I think most folks would be fine waiting as long as they were getting updates in a timely fashion.

I have read that. But it's been over a week. And he didn't really write anything concrete. What the heck, we just have to keep waiting. But patience is not my forte.

In a Tweet or a message on social medias, I think Joe said that he will write a blog post when he will be back from US. Maybe soon?

I just contacted Prusa and support agent told me that they still don't have any exact shipping dates for the MK4 kits.

This is sad cause we are approaching end of May and I assume statement about shipping start on second half of May was too optimistic.

I will wait till end of this month and if no official statement will follow during that time, I will sadly consider about cancelation of my order.

they've already got my $1000+ for the 2 kits I ordered, I'll still keep waiting lol.  I've already printed all the parts...  I'm more interested in when the fully assembled 5 extruder I preordered on 11/18/2021 is going to arrive lol  at least all the folks that have got the single extruder version already are working out the issues for me haha

Did you print the parts because you want a different color?  The printed parts come with the kit or atleast they did in the past.

New probably will not come as you want.  In Prusa Live, I remember them saying that the projected delivery dates will take several weeks of production to be released.

The last real update was 26 Apr in Prusa Live.  I hope they send us news soon.

That's not a bad idea. But i think prusa is ignoring the middle man. I bet the first shipment of kits ends up in the developers hands on YouTube. After all they claimed to have these machines running none stop in the print farms for a year with little issues, now the issues are starting to come up. At this point I agree with @cwbullet if they don't updated anything by next week I'm pulling out 900bucks is alot to be waiting ten plus weeks for a product.

I would rather get no projections than get estimates that keep getting extended. They probably have too many unknowns to make a good guess.

I am confident that they are working towards fulfilling orders as fast as they can. Though it does seem like the release announcement was premature by a month or two.

I wrote to Prusasupport earlier when the Fusion 360 course will be released in German (mid-June) In this context, I asked about my mk4 kit order: I ordered in the first 30 minutes after release. According to Prusachat, I can expect delivery in mid-June. Then I asked about the mmu3 - no release date is known yet, delivery in early June as stated on the website will definitely be impossible - probably July or August.If that helps you in any way 🙂

I am questioning the usage of pre-financing orders that are not exactly predictable in delivery. It has its place on kickstarter or indiegogo but it is misplaced here. A down payment in lets say 10% seems to be OK, but full payment beforehand is not right.

From an old timer with many years waiting for an order from Prusa, patience is key because you can change the process.  No amount of belly aching will change that.

It is one month later than I expected but I am happy that IS alpha was released.
