Just a thank you

Hello everyone,

I bought my first 3D printer, it's a MK4 in kit, took me 13 hours to build it lol. Absolutly everything went incredibly smooth and to me it was all easy until a lovely benchy poped out of my print sheet. Zero trouble, zero problem, zero alarm, zero frustration. The benchy went astonishing crisps right on the first try !

I have no idea why I read suddenly all the hate to Prusa, yes the production delay was a total of 10 weeks, but the result is astonishing, I built so I can fix, tinker or modify absolutly anything, it was a wonderful learning process and now I can start to explore the realm of filaments and settings !

So I would like to thanks all the team and community because I fell that wasn't a reality 5 or 10 years ago.

Thank you, Im going to have a ton of fun for the next decade.

Guillaume

RE:

The MK4 kit is my second Prusa kit I put together. My first kit was the MK3S+.  I must say the assembly of the MK4 is much easier than the MK3S+.  Both kits were fun to build. The MK4 ran perfectly the first time out.  With the release of Firmware 5.0.0 input shaper, it has made the MK4 print like it's on steroids.

Now, should I upgrade my MK3S+ to an MK4?  I know it's a good thing.  What's stopping me is that I have a lot of spares for the MK3S+, including a full set of Motors. What to do?
