Chat support left my chat because I said I wanted a replacement part after 1.5 hours of troubleshooting

First I was adviced in chat support to resolve some first layer issues to check that the hotend was all the way up. After that I got an thermistor error, which I didn't have before. The hotend was all the way up before checking as well.

Then I join chat again to resolve this issue. About 80 minutes in when they want me to use a multimeter which I don't know how to use, and mine isn't particularly easy to setup because it's not as obvious as the one in the article. He wants me to look up the manual for the multimeter. I'm already confused by the entire article and barely understand it. Then he wants me to read up on a multimeter with specifications I understand nothing about. So I get annoyed and say I'm done troubleshooting, its been too long. Then he just asks me if i want to end the chat, and I say I want a replacement (part) because my printer has barely been used, then he says something like "do you know what part to replace" and then he kicks me out of the chat. It is less likely to be a coincidence, I stayed in that chat about 1.5 hours without issues before he seemed to get passive aggressive... I mean Bambu next if you want me to fucking spend Creality Ender time on this unit and you kick me out of support saying I want a functional printer without having to fix it myself

So what is the problem you are trying to fix?

Do you know anyone who does know how to use a multimeter?

Almost all basic problems are best addressed by following the build manuals in reverse ... which part seems to be causing the problem?

Cheerio,

RE:

Thank you for the reply. Same chat support gave me some easier to understand insturctions now, so I will have to see where it leads. But really, the effort is not worth it. Troubleshooting first layer issues, warping etc, leads to a printer part to not work. 3 hours into this I would be much better of just purchasing cheap bambu printers, use them til I get an issue, than sell them to someone who knows how to fix. I could do that with Prusa as well, but that would be expensive. Troubleshooting is not worth my time, I probably save money and at least frustration by just purchasing a new unit and selling the broken to someone who knows how to fix it
