X and Y recalibrating after each power on
I have an MK4 kit. Selftest passes w/o error. Now each time I power on the printer and start a new print, it goes through an X-axis calibration, then a Y-axis calibration. It says briefly in the display that calibration failed, then it starts printing, the result is ok. Something must be wrong as it makes no sense to do this after each and every power on. First, it takes rather long, second it is additional wear on belt and bearings. Does anybody have an idea what might be wrong? Anybody having had the same problem and found a solution?
RE: X and Y recalibrating after each power on
I just finished assembling my Mk4 yesterday and I've been having the same issue at the start of every print, even if the power was not turned off. Selftest also passes with no error. The prints come out perfect, but it does this lengthy X axis calibration, then a brief recalibration for Y every time before probing the bed.
RE: X and Y recalibrating after each power on
same issue here. Has anyone found a solution? It's not the end of the world, but if something is wrong now, I'd rather not let it worsen over time. Self-assembled printer. Same thing as you all, self-tests pass. Mine does it on 90-ish percent of prints.
