Wifi module not detected

Hello,

I just finished to assemble my MK3.5S upgrade. I was able to run all the tests with no problem and adjust the first layer. The only problem I have is that the printer doesn't detect the wifi module. In the "Network" menu the "Active interface" is set to "Wifi" and wifi status is "Gone". For me this mean that the module is not detected.

Below all the tests I did :

- I checked that the module + the plastic part are well positionned and attached => ok

- I dismount the module and check the pins of the module

=> No problem. They aren't bent

=> I tried to install, again, the module and the plastic part on the xBuddy. I checked that the pins of the module are well inserted in the female connector => no change, the status is still "Gone"

- I connected the module directly to the female connector without the plastic part => no change

Remarks :

- When I received the package the female connector wasn't parallel to the board. The connector was a little bent. With a magnifier I checked if it was well soldered to the board. It seams that it was...

- Used an antistatic wrist strap to manipulate the boards

Any tips to fix my problem ?

Is the firmware in the ESP ok ?

The module is dead ?

RE: Wifi module not detected

Unfortunately I have the same issue. I am contacting support. I suspect a hardware issue.

RE: Wifi module not detected

I discussed with the Prusa support. I had to dismount the board.  I saw that one of the pins of the wifi connector was not welded correctly. Prusa will send me a new xBuddy board. Prusa will ask you to send pictures of the boards (wifi and xBuddy).
