Prusa MK3.5S Motherboard defect after mistake ?
Hello,
My Setup :
- Prusa Bear MK3.5S, Hotend Revo Six
Here's my problem: I dismantled part of the electronics to assemble the Prusa enclosure and do some cable management on my Prusa MK3.5S, and when I removed the cables, the Power Panic connector came unsoldered. 🙁
I reassembled everything without the Power Panic cable, started the printer, tested the axis movement (OK), and when preheating the hotend, I got error 28202. Since I made a mistake and the Power Panic connector came unsoldered, do you think this has rendered the motherboard unusable ?

I checked that all the hotend cables are properly connected and the motherboard fuses are intact.
RE:
It's possible that one of the power panic pins has ripped loose from the solder pads on the power supply circuitboard. If the connector seems loose, that might be the issue. It was very frustrating for the Prusa techs and myself, because everything seemed to be great. If you can supply 2-3 volts (battery and a couple of wires) to the power panic connector, and the printer is able to print, then the issue is with the power panic supply. You'll either need to buy a new power supply, or gamble on never having an outage.
I don't gamble, myself...

I think you can remove the two power panic wires and everything should still work properly still.
