New firmware caused bed level to go all cattywampus!? 🤷♂️
After whacking on 6.2.0+8816 my production prints started failing, first layer was super squished at the front, and not sticking at the back.
I've had to bed level correct +100 the front and -100 the back, and it's still not perfect.
I'm pretty sure I had no settings stored that would have been lost and caused this, machine was fully tuned and calibrated.
Haven't had an issue like this after previous fw updates, only thing different was the first time this xy calibrated after the update, it beat the ever loving crap out of the stops like 10+ times, hard?
When I went to get the fw version I did notice there's a new one out, so I guess I'll install that and see if I can get it sorted.
The issue issue now is that I'm at max bed level correction, and it's still not right. The issue happened on the first print after the fw update, no other changed.
I wonder; has some of your 3.5 upgrade come a little loose? It reads as if your frame might be out of line - the Z axis alignment needs checking.

Cheerio,
RE: New firmware caused bed level to go all cattywampus!? 🤷♂️
Yeah I will pull it out after this batch is done and inspect, it's not perfect but printing good enough with the corrections.
The process was essentially;
Print perfectly for months,
Finish a production print with a proven model,
Update firmware,
Start print... fail, shit everywhere, first layer absolute garbage.
If the frame is out of alignment, I suspect it may have been due to the first check after the firmware was updated. Seriously thought it was going to pull itself apart with the force it was smashing into the stops. Seriously, 10+ time each. I saw others report this behaviour, weird.
First layers are a pain for me as they have a lot of text, so if it's not pretty close to perfect, I get letters lifting.

[SOLVED]
I loosened the Y rail rear mounts (which were tight), held them tight to the top of the hole, and retighten. Also went around and checked other mounts to ensure they were tight and squared up, which they were. Ran a few first layer cals to ensure an even thickness, slight bed level correction needed, and it's back in business. Still no idea what happened as the change was sudden and was the first print after the FW upgrade, as it it wasn't slowly drifting over time. Also 0.2mm is a lot on a first layer to have to correct... ahh well, will remain a mystery.
