MK3S+ Z Axis Problem
My printer has decided its minimum z axis position is about 6" off the build plate and will not go below that level.
I had just finished a 22 hour print. The print went fine and it ended up with nozzle about 7" above the build plate. I loaded a new gcode file for the next stage of my project and started it. I got a message that the sensor did not trigger and to check for debris on the nozzle. There was none. I tried again and saw that the nozzle would only descend to about 6" above the build plate and then stop, so of course the sensor wasn't seeing anything. I went into settings and tried Move Axis Z to move the nozzle down - I could make it go up and down but could not make it descend below 6". I tried running the calibration wizard to see if I could get the printer to reset where the Z minimum was but it would still go to 6" above the build plate and stop.
Not sure how to proceed at this point - any advice would be appreciated.
